Sorry to hear you are down, Gill -- I have just the same reaction to trips away. Have you tried Byron Katie's work? Have just started exploring it now -- but it seems dazzlingly clear. take care of yourself.

Wow Gill good to see you bsck safe and sound - you lucky thing getting away from all this cold weather for a few weeks...pleased you had a good time mostly! :) I get very much on a down turn after a vacation too, does anyone else here? I think in…

Hello everybody, hello Lisa. I feel that I have fallen off the ladder and ended up in the doldrums. I never really got past the first CD. Something is holding me up. I've just come back from a two week holiday in Thailand where although I had a rea…

Thank you, guys! Yes, if I can, will make a copy; and if I can't, I think I'll just try and do some slightly different meditation for a week. I am just blown away by how it has affected my insomnia: i have struggled with this for over 15 years, and…

....added to say, I don't think it does any harm to skip it some times, but continuity has to be better so not to get 'full on effects' of the strength as I did startibg it again. One thing for certain it proved to me that it does profoundly affect…

Hi... Great advice there, make a copy to take! I have experience of skipping two weeks whilst on hols in the summer. It was infuriating, I had made a copy but couldnt get hold of a CD player not having taken one doh!!! I was on a cruise and so cou…

If you have time for it during the week I think its better to just try to continue. I don't think its a problem to skip a week, but you will probably miss it, and it takes longer to complete your level. You can also make a copy of your CD and use th…

Hi guys, I'm leaving for a week abroad with work, and am reluctant to take my Hlosync CD with me, in case it will get lost or daramged. Do you think it will be ok to leave it for a week? Thanks, and hope you are all well! Also: has anyone else found…

Yep, I guess addictions mild or otherwise were escaping mechanisms we learned to use to cope with stress etc...as they say in Landmark - we adopt something to cope in a world where something is wrong, even at a young age, where we dont even know wha…

yes, i think bad habits and addictions are a form of escaping this pressure. Doing things like overeating when you are stressed can make you feel normal again. Ofcourse its better not to give in to bad habits, but if it helps to feel better, why not…

Datn keyboard I had meant to say - there you go!

There you Colin, Gert has made much sense there. Do you think we are looking for ways to escape this pressure Gert? I mean even watching a film/TV/sleep are forms of escape! We know this from SM... The entropy or excess energy has to go somewhere,…

I don't think this is not really overwhelm. This is the normal way holosync works. Holosync stresses the brain to a bit more than it can handle right now, and then you go looking for things that can relieve the pressure (entropy) a bit, like overeat…

Guys, thank you so much for your replies! It helps so much to share the journey, doesn't it? To be honest, by and large I have found Holosync to have affected in positive ways, although it's quite hard sometimes to put one's finger on exactly what:…

Welcome Colin to Be-Hootless!

This is the Off-Topic forum in which most things can be discussed, that will run alongside our other one, 'Hootless' that is more focused on processes such as The Sedona Method and Release Technique. Some interesting debates going on in there!

This will be straight forward and interesting in intention....Hopefully it will give others that are into many different and wonderful things a platform to find out more, and share their experiences.

Thanks for joining us, please feel free to add whatever you would like and participate anywhere you wish to. The idea of this forum is that it evolves from the input of its members collectively....and continues to grow as a result....
